Helwein's image named "The Last Girl" is very large. It appears to be on the side of a very large building, sort of like a billboard. Since the image is so large, the man climbing up the girl's face is so tiny to the point where an ordinary person could barely see him. Below the image, a car is driving on the street or some sort of platform, which emphasizes how big the image really is, as it is hanging on the side of the building. The size of the image does affect its meaning, as the man is almost unnoticeable on the girl's face. Viewers will draw different conclusions on the image's meaning based on how large it is and the location of it. Although it can be hard to tell, this image looks like a continuous image.

There is lots of color, as viewers can see the different mediums and colors of the paintings. The background of both images is red. Questions: 1. The models have serious expressions and seem to give off a "sad" kind of mood. They seem to be posing. 2. These images seem to be created using oil paint because viewers can see the different colors and brushes used. 3. Color does contribute to the mood because in the first image, one of the main colors is blue, which gives off a relaxed vibe. There is no blue in the second image, so a more serious and intense mood is felt by viewers. 4. The artist wanted the viewers to think about these images and feel sad and possibly angry.
